PROJECT C.U.R.E., KHOEMACAU MINE, MEDICAL CONTAINER DELIVERY In 2022, Royal Gold funded a Needs Assessment in coordination with Project C.U.R.E. for the Toteng Medical Clinic near the Khoemacau Mine in Botswana. Shortly thereafter, Royal Gold contributed $261,000 to complete the construction of the Toteng Medical Clinic, including the water tanks, pumping and cooling systems and mechanical equipment required by a medical clinic. After many meetings with the Government of Botswana, Khoemacau and Project C.U.R.E., a final import approval was secured in late 2024 to finally bring medical supplies and equipment into the country. We are thrilled to report that a container full of much needed medical supplies (with a value of $323,928) was successfully shipped to Toteng Medical Clinic in Botswana (Step 5 of the C.U.R.E. Cargo Process, as described on the previous page). This shipment aims to significantly enhance the facility’s capacity to provide essential healthcare services, address supply gaps and improve patient care outcomes. Together, these efforts demonstrate a measurable commitment to strengthening health systems through thoughtful logistics planning and effective cross - partner collaboration. The Botswana collaboration is especially noteworthy since this is the first medical cargo shipment to that country from Project C.U.R.E. Altogether, Royal Gold has helped support the delivery of $1.02 million worth of essential and critically needed medical supplies and equipment to Ghana and Botswana.
