This assessment, conducted in health facilities at Akyempim, Ateiku, Nsadweso, Benso, Brofoyedro and Mpohor (near the Wassa mine), is an important step toward improving access to essential health resources and better health outcomes for individuals and families across our host communities. Following a successful Needs Assessment, in November 2025, a container allocation strategy was finalized in collaboration with Golden Star Resources Ltd. Through this coordinated approach, two containers were strategically divided to ensure equitable distribution among four health facilities—Akyempim Community Clinic, Ateiku Health Center, Benso Health Center, and Nsadweso CHPS Compound—with each facility receiving 0.5 container. This allocation strengthened last - mile delivery and maximized the reach of critical medical supplies to underserved communities.
