Mining Community Investment Highlights Royal Gold’s mining community contributions support programs in the communities where we hold stream or royalty interests that promote sustainable development, globally. Royal Gold supports programs that achieve impactful, measurable and sustainable outcomes that align with one or more of the SDGs. Royal Gold has been a long-time contributor to Operator community programs and partnerships worldwide. In the communities where we have our existing interests, we’ve supported various voluntary, community-related initiatives. The following pages highlight some of our most recent mining community investment projects. All of these projects are funded in coordination with the Operators. Project C.U.R.E. Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has been dedicated to addressing the critical shortage of medical resources in underserved communities around the world. As the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment, and services, Project C.U.R.E. works to identify, source, collect, sort, and deliver life-saving materials to healthcare professionals serving the sick and vulnerable in more than 135 countries. Project C.U.R.E. and Royal Gold have been in partnership since 2020, where we have collaborated to support frontline healthcare workers during Covid, provision medical supplies and equipment in under- resourced health facilities worldwide and strengthen Project C.U.R.E.’s capacity from its distribution centers in the United States. In 2025, the two organizations embarked upon a new partnership strategy to positively impact specific healthcare facilities by securing the delivery of medical containers in two of Royal Gold’s Operators’ countries, including Ghana and Botswana. PROJECT C.U.R.E., WASSA MINE, NEEDS ASSESSMENT In August 2025, Rebecca Weber, a trained Project C.U.R.E. Needs Assessor, was deployed to visit 10 government-funded health facilities in the vicinity of the Wassa Mine, all of which work under the Ghana Health Service. The mix of medical facilities visited included rural and Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds that provide basic medical care and testing. These facilities work together to care for the people of the community. The purpose of the visit was to complete a Needs Assessment, which is a crucial part of the process before medical equipment can be delivered. The completion of the Needs Assessment (or Step 2 of the C.U.R.E. Cargo Process, as described on the following page) is when a Project C.U.R.E. representative travels to the recipient hospital or clinic to determine the specific needs before medical supplies and equipment are delivered. This step includes in-person meetings with staff, touring of facilities and a detailed analysis of current medical operations. The goal of this step is to ensure that future donated cargo containers meet the specific needs of the recipient, maximizing impact. Royal Gold funded a Needs Assessment for the Toteng Clinic near the Khoemacau Mine in Botswana in 2022. The Project C.U.R.E. visit to Ghana was undertaken in collaboration with Royal Gold as the funding sponsor and mining operator, Golden Star Resources Ltd./ Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining Co, Ltd. as the host.
