Biodiversity Royal Gold is committed to systematically reporting biodiversity metrics across our stream and royalty portfolio. Our monitoring identifies elevated levels of risk and enhances our due diligence efforts. Importance of Biodiversity By endorsing the ICMM Mining Principles, Royal Gold recognizes Principle 7: Conservation of Biodiversity. As a streaming and royalty company, we continue to look for ways to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity. We continue to use the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) to monitor our portfolio and when considering new opportunities. In addition to using the IBAT global biodiversity dataset, Royal Gold also reviews the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, the World Database on Protected Areas and the World Database of Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs). The chart on the following page shows the proximity of our Principal Properties to any KBAs, including any identified International Union for Conservation of Nature species within a 10-km radius of the point selected to represent the operation’s position and the corresponding IBAT Rarity Weighted Richness score. In 2025, the number of species listed as Critically Endangered increased by one at Andacollo and the number of species listed as Endangered increased by three at Pueblo Viejo and two at Andacollo. The increases can be attributed to improved monitoring and reporting practices. Royal Gold references the IFC Performance Standards on Social and Environmental Sustainability, which includes Performance Standard 6 on Biodiversity Conservation, as a comprehensive biodiversity resource, especially when a project is located in an IFC designated country and/or when applicable. The WGC RGMPs also details specific biodiversity criteria used by Royal Gold. Royal Gold uses adherence to these biodiversity- related standards as a benchmark when evaluating operators' environmental and social commitments during due diligence and portfolio monitoring. We also regularly engage biodiversity specialists to assist in our due diligence efforts.
