Leeville is located in northeastern Nevada, approximately 15 kilometers northwest of the town of Carlin and 50 kilometers west-northwest of Elko. Operational Overview Mining at Leeville started in 2005. Leeville utilizes two main mining methods for ore extraction: underhand drift-and-fill, and long-hole stoping. Gold mineralization in the Leeville complex is refractory.
